ECRAN
2010

The wall is at the same time an extension of the architecture, an upright sculpture and a semi panoramic image.
Starting from the central pillar of the exhibition space, two wall constructions unfold into the space. The pillar acts as a centre of rotation. The slightly overlapping walls can be seen as a compact and massive facade from the one side. For the viewer moving around the walls, space opens up and the walls fall apart, separated by the pillar. The formerly shielding facade turns into a thin membrane.

Used wooden boards, acrylic emulsion paint, staples
